Kestrel keeps a deliberately small range — one flat-face FRT, finished with care and kept in stock. We would rather do one part properly than list a dozen we cannot vouch for.

Honesty as a feature

We tell customers up front that this is a fitted component and a semi-automatic one: one pull, one round. Clear expectations make for better installs and better shooting.

On finish and fit

A trigger is a thing you touch a few hundred times a range trip, so how it is finished matters. Each shoe is inspected before it ships, the Cerakote is even, and the two resets are matched so you can fit rather than force. None of that is exotic — it is simply the difference between a part that was made and one that was merely manufactured. If yours arrives less than right, we replace it, no argument.

Common questions

Is fitting involved?

It is a fitted part rather than a drop-in one. The shoe and reset are installed into the trigger group, and some pistols benefit from light adjustment. We recommend a gunsmith unless you are comfortable with trigger work.

Is it a semi-automatic component?

Yes. It fires one round per pull of the trigger; the reset returns the trigger forward mechanically. It is not, and cannot be, an automatic device.

Which models does it suit?

The Gen 1–6 double-stack Glocks: 17, 19, 19X, 22, 26, 34, 45 and similar. Gen 5, Gen V and Gen 6 require a Gen 4 slide release. It is not intended for the Glock 44 or the slimline 43/43X/48.
